Nuestra Signora de Katipanan Parish Church, Nabua, Camarines Sur

The image of Nuestra Señora de Katipanan of Nabua is an image of the Immaculate Conception venerated in the Parish.  The story goes that 1711 when a devastating earthquake hit Nabua, the townsfolk made a covenant to the Blessed Virgin Mary to remember the date annually. Since then, the Feast of the Nuestra Señora de Katipanan has been celebrated every July 28.

When this photo was taken in July 2022, it was estimated that copnstruction of the church would be finished by the end of 2023.
