A collection of 360-degree Images, videos, and timelapse pictures of the Philippines

In this blog you'll find 360x180 degree panoramas of places in the Philippines. A 360x180 'pano' is made up of around 16-26 individual fisheye photos which are then stitched together using special software. Use the search engine below to find specifics, or look up the index which is arranged geographically. Click on the broken square box in the top right of each picture to open in full screen mode and then drag the images to view in virtual reality!

Timelapse videos are also being added, as are aerial shots including fly-overs taken from a drone. Enjoy!

San Bartolome Parish Church, Barangay San Nicolas, Magalang, Pampanga

The exact date of the construction of San Bartolome Parish Church remains unclear although it is thought it may have been started around 1725, when the convent of Magalang was relieved from paying its dues to the Augustinian province. The current church, was built in 1866. In 1875, the facade and the two storey bell tower were finished; and two large bells were installed in 1889 and 1890 respectively. During the revolutionary period, the church convent was occupied by revolutionaries, and it was converted into a prison for Spanish captives. On November 5, 1899, the Americans captured the convent from the revolutionaries, and they reconstituted it  as their military headquarters in Magalang until 1901. During Japanese occupation, the belfry served as their observation post.
